Fractal Antenna Catalog
Fractal antennas use self similar designs to maximize the length, or increase the perimeter of material that can receive or transmit electromagnetic radiation within a given total surface area or volume. Fractal antennas are printed structures that is they are etched on a dielectric substrate.
The main advantage of fractal antennas are:
Reduced space requirement because of the compact size.
Higher input resistance because of increase in length or perimeter.
