i wnate to make a link between etabs and matlab so that,
to be running etabs from matlab.

It would be kind if you edit the question and add a link, which explains, what "etabs" is. This is more efficient than letting the readers ask an internet search engine for this detail. Then decribe what "running etabs from Matlab" exactly means.

I have no idea either. Perhaps if etabs is ActiveX aware you can use ActiveX. Contact the company that made etabs.
