Photographs of a social gathering I did on my Canon 6000D (both Raw and jpg) on ISO 800 do not open on my computer. When I opened them HeX editor, it has got only '0' s and no other data. Is there a way I could recover the images? Any advice is highly appreciated.

No. If they're both all zeros, then the data is not there. You can attach them here if you want to see what we can do with them but it's doubtful we'll get anything, unless you were just looking at the wrong part of the files.

Why do you have both raw and jpg? Can you tell the camera to take both or just one format? Or did you take some photos in raw and other photos in jpg?

My phone has an option for RAW + jpg for HDR mode. jpg is "good enough" a lot of the time, and smaller to copy around, but you just might want to do processing to rebalance the HDR so the RAW can be created as well.

I'd be looking at my backups. (A GREAT thing to do.) Of course, if you are asking this question, there are no backups. Before the next time is a good time to start with that plan.
All zeros suggests they were trashed/corrupted in some way. And pure hex zeros says there is no information remaining at all.

Are there other files on the card which are unaffected? Is it strictly that one subset of photos that are zero? Do they have plausible filesize? I'd suspect that the card filesystem is corrupted, but that's just my experience more than anything.

Try the card in a different computer.
Can you review the pictures on the camera? If so then the images are there somewhere. (Though one of my cameras could store a handful of pictures in its own memory without any card.)
