How to remove this shadow box in MATLAB figure

Hello everyone, do you know what this gray shadow line (within Figure window, not the outer) is and how to turn it off?

I am really frustrated with this when exporting to images. Thank you for your help.

It's likely OS setting not MATLAB.

@Bruno Luong I believe you are misunderstanding. My problem is the part inside windows, NOT under windows.

@Jan It happes with Save As or Copy Figures, for example to .png or .pdf

OK, but the "shadow" is not a shadow, it's the figure backgroud (or forground?) and your axes (or its container) just leaves a small gap. You can resize the axes position (we don't know how it is created) or change the figure color to white.

That makes sense. It lies in UIContainer->BackgroundColor, change to white to solve it. However, I am still confused with all of these stuff. How is this structured? What is the role of UIContainer?

So are you saying that when you use getframe() or exportgraphics() that faint inside shadow is still there?

I don't know, the programer (you?) decides certain structure suitable to his goal, to serves many purpose to have some sort of graphical hierachy and layout for resize; hide/show, context menu, etc.... or to frustrate you unintentionaly.

So, from your comment above, it sounds like using getframe() or exportgraphics() was able to export the figure without that shadow line that you didn't want. Just logging the fact (solution) down here in the Answers section.
