Matrix with double values

Hi everybody,
I have a matrix with the double amount of values in (almost) random order and I would like to be able to find and delete the double values.
Example:
Val = [2;4;7;2;3] (5x1 double) and I would like to find and delete (or replace) 2 since it occurs twice.
Does anyone know how to do this?
