i am using sift library in my image processing project on matlab R2013a in 32 bit windows 7, i am setting file path as sift_path = fullfile('lib','sift','bin','siftfeat'); and it gives an error as 'lib\sift\bin\siftfeat' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

@Nimit Kaura: you have been asked to provide the full error message in your question. Please provide the full error message in the question. This means all of the red text.

@Nimit Kaura: Do you see that the code is not readable? Please use the "{} Code" button. It would be easier, if you post the relevant part of the code only.

The error message is clear: 'lib\sift\bin\siftfeat' is not recognized as an external function. Most likely this file is not existing at all, because the path is relative. Check this:
sift_bin = fullfile('lib','sift','bin','siftfeat');
test = fullfile(cd, sift_bin);
exist(test, 'file')
Perhaps you want to use an absolute path. Where do you expect the executable "siftfeat.exe" to be?
While the OP worked under Windows, the attached comments from Nimit Kaura do not mention the used operating system.
