From the series: Coder Summit
Tom Erkkinen, MathWorks
Hear why—after seven years—MATLAB Coder™ and Embedded Coder® are major releases in R2018a.
In 2011, MATLAB Coder was first released along with major updates to Simulink Coder™ and Embedded Coder. This enabled code generation for algorithms that contained signal processing, image processing, as well as control design.
Now, GPU Coder™ was released, joining the other coder products and enabling code generation for deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI). This along with other major coder products improvements, such as row-major matrix format, Embedded Coder Dictionary, services-oriented design, and SIMD code generation, make 2018 a major advancement in code generation technology.
This presentation is from Coder Summit Talks, which are live recordings of developers and engineers debuting their best MATLAB® and Simulink Coder optimizations and examples at an annual technical interchange.
