Users can access the camera control features of the FLIR cameras and acquire data directly into MATLAB for analysis, visualization, and modeling.

In addition, the free FLIR Science File SDK for Windows, macOS, and Linux provides a set of functions to enable FLIR camera users a simple way to access temperature calibrated measurement data from any file type created by a FLIR software application and supported camera. The File SDK includes MEX functions that provide an easy method to open and read FLIR thermal data files directly in MATLAB, extending the image analysis capabilities for users.
