Art using Math
I saw this on Reddit and thought of the past mini-hack contests. We have a few folks here who can do something similar with MATLAB.

All the fractals (iterative meshed 3D fractals) and shapes you can see in my Flickr gallery, I actually designed, computed and displayed them with Matlab.
I also compiled all my code in PI3MFT toolbox dedicated to Printable Iterative 3D Meshed Fractal Toolbox :-) and you can see in its description some examples of real 3D printed famous fractal objects I realized with Matlab :-)
