Give an output from image processing as an input of a fuzzy controller

I get the image through the webcam. Then I want to process the image and calculate the distance to a certain object in the image from the right edge of the image. Subsequently I want to give this distance as the input to the fuzzy controller. how can I do this? how can I link the image processing output to the fuzzy controller? Plzz hlp... What is the fuzzy controller? Is it a piece of MATLAB or Simulink software, like an m-file script or function or model? Is it some piece of hardware/equipment/instrumentation?

It is basically a controller model like PID. There is a fuzzy tool box in Matlab and also fuzzy controller can be modeled in Simulink. I want to give the output from image processing, as the input to this fuzzy model block in simulink. For example, can i do the image processing part in a .m file and give its output to the block in the simulink?

Simple simulink model with a fuzzy controller is shown in the image attached. There, instead of that ramp input i want to give the distance calculated.
