m=randi(2,8)-1
m(~m)=-1
%or
m=randi([-1 ,1],8)
m(~m)=-1
%or
m=fix(rand(8)+0.5)
m(~m)=-1

2*randi([0 1],8)-1
or
2*(rand(8)>.5) - 1

Is the probabilty of getting -1 and +1 is 0.5. If not, kindly suggest a way to get it.
