Matlab Spelling letter by letter code

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way i can create a code that does the spelling letter by letter of a given word. Thank you very much for your help.

How is the given word given? As CHAR vector, string or as sound, written on paper?

One Way:

1. Splits Words to Letters, like

>> word='Kalyan'
word =
    'Kalyan'
>> num2cell(word)
ans =
  1×6 cell array
    {'K'}    {'a'}    {'l'}    {'y'}    {'a'}    {'n'}
