i am doing work under texture classification..i have applied lbp and extracted histogram as a feature ..then i appled dwt and extracted energy as a feature and then i combined both the features..is this process is correct..

I'm sure it does what you programmed it to do. The real test is whether it allows you to measure what you want it to measure. If what it does agrees with what you think it should do and what you want it to do, then it works.
