i want to do it by code not by tool box

If you have more time than money, look here and reinvent/recreate all of those functions (or at least the ones you think you need) in code. Luckily I don't need to code up all my toolbox functions from scratch. You might look at the help. Lots of functions give the published paper on which the function was based.
