How to get random numbers in model reference block with accelerator mode?

I was able to successfully convert an existing into a model reference block.

It all works well in normal mode. But when I run the same in accelerator mode, strangely I get an error as follows:

LCC Runtime

Exception 0xc0000005:

Segment Violation

Address : 0x40bcb7

By commenting several parts of the model, I was able to shortlist the problem to the random number generation (both the simulink random generator block and the matlab embedded function calling the rand function give error).

So my question is this, how do I get it to run in model reference in accelerator mode?

I would try a different C compiler.
