That is matlab code (assuming delta and alpha are variables).
cosd() is the cosine function for inputs using degree units rather than radians.

yes i have done it exactly the same still its giving me an error.
Please show us the values for delta and alpha.
Also what are the results of the following 3 lines?
size(delta)
size(alpha)
which cosd -all

i am working on the topic of voltage stability for IEEE 30bus test system and I've written all the coding which is required but unable to calcultate gvsm just because of the cosine angle

>>in this program k is delta difference which is the difference of sending and receiving end. I'll be grateful to you if you could help me.

The links are broken.
To offer more advice, I just need this:
Please show us the values for delta and alpha.
Also what are the results of the following 3 lines?
size(delta)
size(alpha)
which cosd -all

there are many values of delta and alpha because they are in 1×30 matrix form so it is not possible to write all the values.

But you could provide a sample of those values and you could definitely provide the results of the three lines of code. Good luck.

cosd(bsxfun(@plus,Delta+Alpha)) % assuming units are degrees else use cos()
