What steps I need to do to create .dat file in MATLAB?

@DEVI MURALI: there is no universal standard for what a .dat file may be: there are many different applications that use this file extension, and so far you have told us nothing about which one you want, or what this has to do with MATLAB.

Please edit your question and include:

1. information that explains what .dat standard you want to use, and
2. information on what this specifically has to do with MATLAB.

@Devi, there is no point in asking the same question several times [1] [2]. The only way to solve this problem is to ask the author of the code to provide the dat file.
