measuring bubble diameter, velocity

Hi All,

I'm new to MATLAB, can anyone help me by telling me how to measure the diameter (or area)and the velocity of bubbles in a liquid, I have images and vedio of the flow.

Presumably, you'ver researched algorithms for this and already have in mind what algorithm you want to implement and what image processing is needed. In which case, tell us what it is and we may be able to guide you in implementing it in matlab.

If you have not done such research, then that's the first thing you need to do as a) that has nothing to do with matlab, b) explaining that would take pages.

That's true, I did some research,but because I have a limited time I thought it is better to ask for some help to guide me from where can I start.

well as I said, a proper answer would take pages. The processing you would do depends on so many things (size of bubbles against size of image, quality of images, velocity of bubbles, roundness of bubbles, density of bubbles, have you even got a scale of your images, etc.) that answering such a question is near impossible.
