Detection of change of values on single step in Test sequence

In my model one of the signal value will have different values in single step itself. In test sequence transition I tried to detect one of these values. Test sequence is detecting only one of these multiple values in a step. I tried to use Messages in stateflow to detect these values and working fine. Is there any other method to avoid messages?

Is the design model multirate?

Are the inputs coming to test sequence block changing in one sample time (base rate of the model)?
