Removing a panel caused issues

I removed a panel from my groups work to allow for an image to be displayed as a background, as someone who is new to Matlab i just copy and pasted all the axis and buttons and deleted the panel. This has caused it to duplicate the axis and buttons when i run the script even though there is only one of each. Also only one set of these is working and the other seems to do nothing Anyone know how to help,

Sorry its just my code is using about 10 files to get it to work and I only really needed to show the issue
