I want to generate Q, a 100*12 matrix, such that conjugate transpose(Q)*Q=I(12*12 identity matrix). Please tell me how to generate that matrix.

I am using the following code:
rng(10)
Q=randn(100,12)+1i*randn(100,12);
QH=ctraspose(Q); % conjugate transpose of Q
I=QH*Q;

Try ctranspose() instead of ctraspose().
