Save model upgrading the version.

Hi, i would like to know if it's possible to save a Simulink model in different version keeping in the folder only the model name, without creating different file of the same model. I would like to have, for example, only one file with its name in the folder: and opening it i would like to choose which version of the file to open (e.g. version 1 or versione 1.2 or 2 etc..). This would help me organize my folders

I don't think this is a trivial task. A Simulink project with source control maybe something you are looking for. Simulink projects documentation is here. You might also find this documentation on managing model versions useful.
