Identify type of nose from side face image

Hi All, using the approach vision.CascadeObjectDetector am unable to detect nose from side face image.

The following is the workaround thought off I have all type of noses available in a image and want to compare with side face image and get the closest nose shape which matches the image.

Pls let me know how to compare nose image with the side face image.

Pls let me know if any other approach can be used.

I'm not sure that's been done before, but if it has, you might find papers on it here: http://www.visionbib.com/bibliography/contents.html Otherwise you'll have to write it yourself instead of lifting the code from someone else.
