Matlab Compiler Run Installer

Hi, I am trying to download MCRinstaller from http://au.mathworks.com/products/compiler/mcr/ But I am using window 8 (64bit). But in the middle of download, it stops and cannot finish. I tried for a few times but it happened the same.

May I know what is the problem with that? Do i need to have Matlab in my laptop to download MCRinstaller? And is it free to download MCRinstaller or do I have to pay?

Probably some kind of network traffic or glitch. I've had that happen before when downloading newly released versions. Trying again at another time, like not during peak hours, will probably let it finish.

If that fails, get the MCRInstaller from the person who had the compiler and gave you the program to install. They will have it on their hard drive.

You might need to temporarily disable your anti-virus software; anti-virus software can interfere with downloads.
