saving figures

After plotting it's needed saving figure of that. I wrote this:When I write under code, there is no problem with saving but the saved figure is small and i need saving in full screen size

h=figure;
plot
saveas(h,name,'bmp'); %name is a string

So I use this one:

h=figure;
set(h,'Position',[1 1 1680 1050]);
plot
saveas(h,name,'bmp'); %name is a string

but in this one, instead of saving figure, it prints screen all of desktop!

now, how could I save a figure in full screen?

by using of saveas(h,name,'png')instead of saveas(h,name,'bmp') it was solved
