Magnifying a Segment of Plot in MATLAB Figure

Hi,

I tried to create a magnified part of a plot3 figure but unfortunately, I couldn't find any options for how to make it, like on the image below. I know that there are options for how to magnify a part of a figure but I have to create a magnification appearance like this! I needed to use different programs to do this, but I want to create it in MATLAB.

Do you have any idea how can I do this?

I'm attaching some of my demos where I insert axes into axes as small insets.

Adapt the "inset_plot_within_another_plot.m" file to do what you want.
