HI
I am running matlab under Linux machine in a computer with a lot of resources (ASUS with 32GB, powerful Intel NVidia and i9 processor).
I was using GUIDE to build scientific apps and started recently to use AppDesigner. Unfortunately if freezes all the time which is quit annoying. Editing fileds it is a pain. I can't use the app. I will continue to use GUIDE despite of the advantages that AppDesigner offers.
Is there any workaround or any update that can solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
PR

App Designer starts up fine for me. If it won't launch for you then it could be some kind of installation issue. In that case the fastest route to success would be to do what it says in the FAQ:
Does it launch OK by itself, with no .mlapp file loaded, like if you typed appdesigner in the command window? Does it launch OK if you double click the .mlapp file in the Current Folder panel?
If it launches and displays your GUI then it's more likely a problem with your code. You'd need to attach your .mlapp file and and data or images needed to run it so someone here can reproduce and possibly fix your problem.

I am not. I am not a developer at the Mathworks. I don't have any access to code bases for the versions of MATLAB that work on various OS platforms. I suggest you call tech support. If you can't even create a simple script .m file, then something is obviously wrong and you could claim it's an installation issue and get free tech support even if you don't have a support contract.
