I would like to learn the method of circular shift for x or other signals x(n)={1,2,5↑,7,0,1};g(n)=x[(n−12)]↑8;g(n)=x[(−12)]↑8

Please do not invent a new notation and expect, that the readers understand it. Using Matlab syntax is the best choice in a Matlab forum. So what does "x(n)={1,2,5↑,7,0,1}" and "g(n)=x[(n−12)]↑8;g(n)=x[(−12)]↑8" mean?
