how to explain the gabor features

i don to explain the gabor features. please help in explaining.

Could you be more clear what you mean with 'gabor features'? Which toolbox or matlab function do you mean?

If you mean the Gabor Filter, you could have a look at the File Exchange for possible costum programs. A good tutorial can be found here: Gabor Tutorial

The tutorial could be better, in my opinion, if it had shown some real world images and shown how the filters can be used with those images to produce meaningful information or output images, rather than just a bunch of integral equations.
