How can we resolve the error caused by - Dictionary entry value class 'DATA.Signal' is undefined ?

When I am trying to open a Data Dictionary File ( .sldd) of a Component Model in 2019b, I am getting the following error :
Failed to open file 'C:\Users\xxx\xxxxx\xxxxx.sldd'
Caused by:
  • Dictionary entry value class 'DATA.Signal' is undefined.
Component:Simulink | Category:Model error
Is the error in '**.sldd' file ? How can I fix this error ?

It seems like DATA.Signal is a customized class, for example, built on top of the Simulink.Signal class. Or, it could be a class provided by a toolbox.
In any case, there are some files installed in the MATLAB path to define the class. You need to trace back to the source/owner of the .sldd file and ask about those files.

This error is not related to that .sldd file. But there are parameters which are used in the sldd file you are trying to open and coming from the other sources.
These sources needs to be added in your MATLAB workspace path.
