function / module that can be use seperate from matlab

i want to crate function /module to use in for example visualstudio without conecting matlab to vs. My function is based on image procesing i want to for simple example matlab code:
function [x,y] = myfunc(a,b,c)
x = a + b;
y = sprintf('Hello %s',c);
and then i want to get a,b,c from visual studio or some server.
and than i want to be abe to pass result to visual studio or some server.
i think i want somthing like this by my code is based on image procesing is there a way to do that?

You will need the compiler I think. But possibly you'll need NE Builder also, or instead of, the compiler - I'm not sure. Just call them and ask what products you need to do what you need to do and they'll tell you for certain what you need.
I don't believe your end-user/target system will need to run the MCRinstaller, but I could be wrong. I think all they need is the DLL you create.
