Would you tell me how to play avi file created by Matlab function 'VideoWriter' in Windows Media Player?
I tried to update the player, but it cannot.

Which version of Matlab, media player and operating system are you using? What does "it cannot" explicitly mean? Do you get an error message? How did you create the file?

To open an avi file programatically, use 'implay()' function. Refer this for more on video viewer.
