How to generate a basic table of answers?

I'm sure this is a very elementary process, it seems to me that it shouldn't be that hard, but for the life of me I can't figure it out: My code does some basic calculations on a large set of data; I would like for the answers to these calculations to be displayed in a table. I have:
dz = diff(dep);
drho = diff(sigth);
drhodz = drho./dz;
maxd = max(drhodz);
inum = find(drhodz==max(drhodz));
I would like to see a table with columns of maxd & inum. Any ideas?

h=uitable('data',rand(3,1))

You can use uitable() if you want to present the table in a GUI; you can use fprintf() if you want to present the table as printed output.

And to add to the list:

Could do this too.
a=magic(5);
open('a');
