To add a block to a model, double-click the canvas and start typing the block name. Then, select the block from the list.

Description

The Flux Sensor block represents an ideal flux sensor, that is, a device that converts flux measured in a magnetic branch into a physical signal proportional to the flux.

Use the N and S ports to connect the sensor in series with the other blocks in the branch where you want to measure the flux. The physical signal port PHI outputs the value of the flux, which is positive when the flux flows from the N to the S port. Use a PS-Simulink Converter block to connect port PHI to Simulink^® blocks, such as Scope or Display.

The port name is not visible in the block icon, but you can see this name in the underlying source file by clicking the Source code link in the Description tab of the block dialog box.

Conserving

N — North terminal

S — South terminal

magnetic

Magnetic conserving port associated with the sensor south terminal.
