Die Simscape™-Funktion „Editing Mode“ ermöglicht es Ihnen, Modelle, die Blöcke von Add-on-Produkten enthalten, im eingeschränkten Modus zu öffnen, zu simulieren und zu speichern, ohne Lizenzen für Add-on-Produkte auszuchecken, sofern die Produkte auf Ihrem Computer installiert sind. Dadurch soll eine kostengünstige Möglichkeit bereitgestellt werden, Simulationsmodelle innerhalb eines Teams oder einer Organisation zu verteilen.
