Description
HyperPASS is an aeroassist simulation software package coded in MATLAB. It enables you to perform simulations at any planet using pre-programmed vehicles or user-entered vehicles. You can perform trade study simulations without prior knowledge of MATLAB, using graphical user interfaces. You can also automate simulations to carry out trade studies on the variations of key aerocapture parameters. Afterwards, you can view and plot the output for further analysis.
Scientists, engineers, researchers, and students interested in aeroassist simulations or trade study simulations are the product's typical end users. Atmosphere model types include exponential, table interpolation, Mars simplified homosphere, or user-entered models. Gravity models include inverse-square rotating, J2 rotating, and inverse-square non-rotating. Vehicles include Apollo, Viking, Elliptical Raked-Cone (AFE), or user-entered vehicles.
