Can i pls get a code for raster scanning of a digital image? I hv to trace the tumour boundary. I m using a square window for moving over the tumour boundary.
I m fixing a threshold for the image by the crossover point between two peaks in a histogram.

I hv used quadtree decomposition in split and merge segmentation for an ultrasound image. I m unable to understand the last part of the program "function v= split(b, mindim, fun)...". Can any1 explain its purpose?? The code is as follows:

In the image which I m currently working upon, there is a large discontinuity in the tumour after thresholding. I tried even imfill but its of no use. Can anyone suggest me other method?

I m currently working on fuzzy based approach in image segmentation using an ultrasound image. I hv already generated the membership function. I m having a difficulty to generate the function which expresses entropy of the fuzzy set.

How can I segment a region of larger area by eliminating smaller ones? I hv used the Area parameter from the regionprops tool for this purpose... I need the region with the largest area
