How to compute the area and the distance?
I can solve for AB and AC, but I don't know how to get the area and distance by using AB and AC.

Where is the mistake of the ^? i can plot the graph without the ^ but it say i have mistake after adding the ^ or .^
x_array = -5:5; y_array1 = sin(x_array.^2).*exp^(cos(x_array)); plot(x_array, y_array1)
