Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) Model of Power System in MATLAB SIMULINK developed by Dr. J. A. Laghari
This automatic voltage regulator model is designed in Matlab/simulink software. This topic is also known as Terminal voltage control of reactive power control.
For this purpose, an example from the Book Power System Analysis by Hadi Sadat, Chapter 12, Example 12.6 and 12.8 is considered.
I have discussed how to measure the terminal voltage in per unit, and Volts.
In the end, I have discussed how this model can be used for Bachelor degree final year projects, or can be used for the fulfillment of one or two research objectives in Master and PhD degrees.
