SPS Model of a Hysteresis-Based DTC Induction Motor Drive

This example demonstrates the speed regulation of a variable-speed AC drive using the Direct Torque Control (DTC) technique.

Our example contains a complete motor drive model using the DTC technique. It includes a three-phase rectifier, a DC bus with a braking chopper, a two-level inverter and a 150-HP induction motor (using the trapezoidal robust solver).
Simulating this Simscape Electrical - Specialized Power System (SPS) model for 4 seconds allows observation of the DTC operation for various conditions.
A Help File containing useful information on the model is included as well as a short video clip showing the model running real-time on a Speedgoat target.
