matlabMAKEGRID_VMEC

A set of routines for reading and plotting the mgrid and coils files used with the VMEC code.

MAKEGRID (XGRID) is a code which maps the magnetic field of a coils system to a set of toroidal cutplanes for use with the VMEC fusion MHD equilibria code. matlabMAKEGRID contains routines for reading the coils and mgrid files used with the code. Routines for plotting the coils file and mgrid files are included. As a bonus, a set of routines is included which uses the coils file to calculate the magnetic field at a point in space. This has been tested on a version of MAKEGRID which is compatible with VMEC v6.9.
