The system consists of four main stages: a DC power supply, a high-frequency inverter, transmitter–receiver coupled coils, and a rectification and load stage.
A DC input source feeds a high-frequency inverter (30 kHz), which generates an alternating voltage suitable for wireless power transmission. The inverter drives the transmitter coil, creating an alternating magnetic field that induces voltage in the receiver coil through magnetic coupling.
The received AC signal is then processed using a fast recovery rectifier, converting it back to DC form. A filtering stage smooths the output before delivering power to the load. Voltage, current, and power measurements are included to evaluate system performance.
A key objective of this project is manual parameter experimentation. Users can manually adjust parameters such as inverter switching frequency, coil inductance, coupling conditions, rectifier characteristics, and load resistance to study their effects on efficiency, output voltage, and power transfer capability. This hands-on approach emphasizes physical understanding of wireless power systems rather than idealized operation.
The model is intended for educational and research-oriented applications in power electronics and wireless energy transfer systems.
