The NURBSLab toolbox gathers a wide variety of functions that allow handling NURBS curves and surfaces within the MATLAB environment.

The NURBSLab toolbox is a library built form scratch with a wide variety of functions that allow handling NURBS curves and surfaces without leaving the MATLAB® environment. Among the capabilities implemented, we can find sampling, decomposition, reparameterization, visualization, projection evaluation, and intersection calculation. To facilitate its use within any application, the construction of specific data structures within the library has been avoided, and it works directly with the control points and knot vectors that define the NURBS, which are requested as independent variables. In this way, there is no need to transform the original application’s data structures or duplicate information. The user of the library will be able to utilize its functionalities by retrieving the specific inputs from their data structure and applying minimal transformations.
