Transport matrix to define forces and displacements at any point of any frame element, knowing forces and displacements at any other point.
Transport matrices are structural analysis tools to help knowing forces and displacements if forces and displacements are known at any point of a structural member in a frame. Example: If we know forces and displacements at the start point of any beam in a frame, it is possible to know forces and displacements at the middle of the beam.
The function uploaded needs to know:
1) Disp. Displacements at specific point of any structural element, (the start point of the element, for instance)
2) Force. Forces at the same point of any structural element,
3) i. Coordinates in vectorial form of the start point of the element,
4) j. Coordinates in vectorial form of the end point of the element,
5) E, Young's modulus of the element,
6) I, Inertia moment of the element,
7) A, cross sectional area of the element,
8) x, the distance from the point where the displacement and forces are known to where the forces and displacements need to be known in the element,
9) w, value of the distributed load in the element if exists.
The results of the function is a vector with three first values of displacements (x, y, z) and the last three values are the forces (x, y, z) in the interested point.
