This Simulink file is designed to facilitate undergraduate students' understanding of open and closed-loop control systems. The file interfaces with the STM-Motor Control Kit (ST-MCK), a custom-made kit that includes a DC motor, an optical encoder, an electromagnetic motor driver, and an STM32 Nucleo F411RE microcontroller board.

  • Educational Purpose: Enables students to learn about and experiment with open and closed-loop systems.
  • Hardware Integration: Interfaces seamlessly with the STM32 Nucleo F411RE microcontroller.
  • Deployment: The Simulink model is deployed to the microcontroller to execute the control algorithms.
  • Interrupts Utilization: Implements two hardware interrupts to count pulses and convert them into position and speed measurements.
This project provides a practical and hands-on learning experience by integrating theoretical concepts with real-world hardware applications.
