This Live Script explores the sensitivity of the outcomes of a coin toss to launch and catch conditions in the case of rotation about an axis in the plane of the coin. The probability that a coin flips is related to probability distributions for initial and final conditions through propagation of uncertainty symbolically and through simulation.
The script may interest students and instructors of physics. 'Try this' suggestions along with references are included for further exploration.
