The algorithm was developed during the master's dissertation at the naval school with the purpose of determining RAO's for Portuguese Navy ships. The implemented methods are Strip Theory and Multiparameter Conformal Mapping.
The app in the folder "Multiparameter Conformal Mapping" only need a file with the cross sections corresponding to the ship you want to study in .txt format.
The app in the folder "Response Amplitude Operator" needs the next inputs:
  • Conformal Mapping coefficients for each section
  • Coordinates of the cross sections for the draft under study
  • Longitudinal position of cross sections
  • ship characteristics (center of mass, gmt, gml, displacement
