Is it possible to use a RTL8111C network card in xPC Target 4.0 (R2008b)?

I have bought a new target pc and cannot connect to it from my host machine. It has a RTL8111C network card.

The RTL8111C network card is not supported by xPC Target 4.0 (R2008b).

For a list of supported network cards, please type

 

>> getxpcpci('supported');

in the command window.

Please note that the host-to-target communication supported chipset list has been removed from the MathWorks website.
