Vanilla RNN in Matlab same as elman network?

Can anyone please confirm for me if the Eman network in matlab the same network commonly known as vanilla rnn?

Yes a (Simple) Recurrent Neural Network is also sometimes called a "Vanilla RNN" or an "Elman RNN" after Prof. Jeffrey Elman.
