Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has an example of how to fit categorical data in Simbiology. I searched for it but couldn't find any info.

Are your predictors or your responses categorical? How do they connect to your SimBiology model? Your kind of task is probably possible to do with SimBiology but it won't be easy. It would help to have more information about your use case. I therefore suggest that you contact technical support and refer to this thread.

You can perform logistic regression using the Statistics Toolbox using Generalized Linear Model with a logistic link function.
Since SimBiology depends on the Statistics Toolbox you will already have it installed.
Also if you are purely interested in classification there are other methods to do that as well in the statistics toolbox.

Hm, I was trying to avoid coding everything. Is there any way to use the great user-interface of simbiology to do that? Or would I have to write the code to call the optimization function?
